Photography for London-based Professionals and Entrepreneurs
Authentic Photography reflects your profile and personal brand
Professionals and entrepreneurs in London need imagery for their profile, personal brand and portfolio to enhance their career and personal growth.
The way I work is relaxed and natural, taking into consideration different aspects of the person, from their personality, to their style and preference, their industry and professional goals.
I take the time to listen and get to know you before the booking (I send a questionnaire) and during the photoshoot session. I want to create an environment where people can relax, feel more at ease and can be themselves.
Whether I am working with an executive director needing a polished headshot or an entrepreneur, coach, therapist, or creative looking to tell their story, I will take the time to listen and tune in.
We will create images that reflect who you are by showing off your personality and incorporating elements of your personal brand that will resonate with your audience.
Headshots and Portaits increase visibility
I work with professionals and executives to create headshots for their profile that people use for many purposes. For their online presence, articles and publications, speaking opportunities and podcats.
Headshots can take place in the studio or outdoors, in co-working spaces or in your work or home office.
I bring the equipment and expertise, your bring yourself.
Professionals I have worked with are in different sectors in London, in tech, finance, digital, services, academia, retail, legal, corporate and business.
Laura created amazing headshots of my team and I when I rebranded my business. She managed to make us all look great despite it being many years since the last photos were taken. She is very good at capturing natural looking team shots we used for our website and social media posts.
Laura ran our company photo shoot and was amazing. We’re a small business and it’s really important that we have an ‘About Us’ section on our website with images of the team and headshots for each individual employee. Laura ran a professional and fun session and we were delighted with the results!
Personal Branding Photography for Personal Brands that make an impact
A key element of a personal brand is imagery and how we come across.
How are we introduced to an audience before we speak on stage?
What does the portrait used on an article bio represent the current person behind the brand?
Some questions to ask to assess how up-to-date and fresh is your personal brand and the imagery.
I work with a range of entrepreneurs and founders as well as executives on their personal brand. We work together to create images that represent them and who they are and also sometimes beyond that. I also help founders and entrepreneurs with personal branding and marketing support for their brand or their business.
Entrepreneurs and founders I have worked with are therapists, coaches, communication experts, work in recruitment, bio pharma, operations, risk, lifestyle and wellness services.
When do you need headshots or personal brand photographs?
I often hear people ask about the difference between headshots and personal brand photographs.
The main difference between the two from a photography point of view is that personal photography is usually a longer session as we take the time to create more personalised and bespoke images.
Things that vary are the style as we create images in different styles for e.g. portraits but also standing, sitting, action shots, client interactions etc. Also variety as we have more variety than with headshot sessions where the foucs is the portrait of the person.
Also location and styling of the shoot to include lifestyle set-ups such as a desk, or a sofa, speaking corner etc.
From a profile point of view headshots are the photos of the profile, usually the about me page, the linkedin profile but also what goes in speaking and article bios.
Personal brand photos will have a wider use for social media, newsletters, brochures and posters. They can be used in designs and show the people behind the brand in different set-ups.
I hope this was useful and gave you some pointers when deciding what is right for you.
