I was reading an article yesterday about things we get better at with age and among those things I spotted:
Self-esteem 50-70 😍
Body confidence 74 for women, 80 for men 🙌🏼
Happiness 82 ❤️for both!
Not only reassuring but also validating something we all know - good things take time and we humans get better with age.
“Our societal narrative that ageing is inevitably a process of cognitive and physical decline is not based on science – it’s based entirely on prejudice,” according to Daniel Levitin, professor of neuroscience at McGill University and author of book The Changing Mind.
So why am I sharing this?
1. Because I really enjoyed the article (I’ll add the link in my stories if you’d like to read).
2. And it reminded me of the reasons why I started the over 40s campaign to celebrate age and our lives as important milestones!
The over 40s campaign is ongoing so if you’d like to have more confidence, self-esteem and happiness get in touch.

The perception of age as decline needs to change and by adding more positive stories and images we are contributing to that!
